If you tell the truth under oath, are you a rat?

@kodiac A priest is questioned by the police if he knew children were being molested under his watch (not by him). Truthfully, he did know, but he says, "no," he knew of no such things happening because he wants to protect his colleagues in the clergy. He's [u]not[/u] rat? About a decade later, that same priest is hauled into court and, under oath this time, he admits he did know about what was going on. He's now a snitch?

@MarkPaul He can always take the fifth.If knew he's much worse than a rat if he tells the truth or not. To me a rat is someone that gives up someone else to save his own butt.
