Are two parents even necessary these days or is that too 1950s?
Its too 1950s people dont need 2 parents. It's not needed because most people dont have that anyway

Is it a nessecity? I suppose not. But you can't discount the value of having a loving couple care for a child. Not to mention for a parent to have a partner to lean on.
