The ones who stare are jealous of our barefoot freedom.

@indyjoe You never know, start out slow, for 30-45 minutes a day, then increase from there. This morning I ran 2.25 miles on the streets of my neighborhood, then did an additional 1/2 mile of a cool down walk, all while barefoot. I've been at it now for over 4 years, starting to try to eliminate needing Synvisc injections in my knee, and you know what, it's helped! Haven't had an injection since December of 2014, which was already in the works when I decided to start barefooting.

@Nytro44 Thank you for you reply, but I DO know. I was born with congenital deformities in my feet and ankles (injections won't make any difference). I had to wear braces and then corrective shoes when I was younger. It helped to a point that I was eventually able to wear normal shoes and do most (not all) normal activities as anyone else. The deformities were still there though, and as I've gotten older I've been noticing more pain and instability developing again. My wife and I both realize that there may come a time when I won't be able to walk much and maybe even not at all. I would love to give your suggestion a try (it worked once before), but it's too hard to do that now and there is a risk of making the situation worse. Thanks again anyway.🤠
