Self gratification through social media.
the idea of existentialism ironicly influenced by social ideals in the false pretense of being original and important.

I didn’t see any support for your argument in opposing what I just said.
You called it flawed.after prefacing that you didn’t want to argue.
A divided mind?

Greed and selfishness. Major powers are constantly in the quest of capturing as much resources as possible no mater how it comes. That makes lives miserable in several parts of the world.

@hackettman Current affairs have their roots in the past. If America, and the West want to know why they are hated my many in other parts of the World, then need to read up on some History.

No consideration for one another anymore the world has so much hate people would rather kill each other than be kind to each other
The whole world did a downgrade when Obama left. Strange how the change of one person can bring up or being down the whole world. Too many dictators going unchecked with his unqualified *$$ in there.

Concentration of wealth into the hands of a tiny transnational elite. The only force that can resist this is government, but as these individuals (or corporations) control government, they become immune to regulation. We're nowhere near the point where they're actually in control, but we are moving in the direction of a worldwide feudal monarchy. And unfortunately, absolute monarchies are very stable. What broke the power of the last ones in Europe was the Black Death, which led to the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and the modern world.
