Why do people spend lots of money getting wasted on expensive liquor when i can do it for under $5 with a 40oz?

Because they're at a bar having fun while you's in an alley with your sad self.

I like to start off with the expensive stuff at first, when I can still appreciate it. Once I start to get plastered, I move on to the cheaper stuff.

Because I want to feel alive the next day. Cheap booze is the worst. I’ll always pay for top shelf.

Even better to get six gallons of 80 proof vodka for $60. Significantly higher ABV than 40s.

I don’t like those. I wouldn’t buy those if my life depended on it.

Because according to the Bible we shouldn't drink to become drunk. In other words, instead of wasting 60 bucks to become wasted, we waste 60 bucks to taste something nice and become tipsy.

Anything over $30 is just silly unless it is a fine occasional Scotch but cheap booze like malt liquor,Mr. Boston,and Mad Dogs is not a pleasant buzz.
