i don’t remember exact examples but i remember thinking that it was very repetitive, lacked any kind of charisma and i remember thinking that except for learning to live in the moment most of it sounded like just a bunch of hocus pocus BS @dartlight it’s right there with the celestine prophecy.

Everything you read, but unless you want to learn something specific, vary your library.. Read a bit of everything, fiction, biographies, philosophy, poetry.... study things that interest you, if you're curious about why the sky is blue, look it up, why you seem to float in salt water look it up. Read some of the classics.. Hemingway, Dickinson, Twain Shakespeare...
@DoubleRings I wouldn't say "all" books. All give you information and insight, but I wouldn't say all give you knowledge. Especially in the case of news articles, political commentary, narrated documentaries, etc. things which aren't backed by empirical fact.
Any good and serious book will help you to become smart. They can also help you find where your mind and talents are strongest. Just keep reading and thinking about what you read and don’t stop.
History is one topic that always helps me with perspective on what's happening today.

None really, you can read all the books you like and be able to recite all of them, won't help with desicion making, rational thought, comprehension, developing thoughts to higher levels, application of knowledge blah fkg blah!. 🙂
