Why are people so sketch here?

The way I see it if you feel uncomfortable being open about something you shouldn’t be doing it. You should be able to say anything or act or behave anyway and feel confident about it regardless who knows. If we can’t then we should reevaluate our lives. Seems similar worlds could be a cool open community if this were practiced more.

@SageAdvice yes I’ve scrolled past some strange thinks but most are not open that’s my point they do it in secret here in sw where hardly anyone really knows anyone. So they’re not being open and I’m in no way advocating some of this stuff nor judging I’m just saying if we make sw a big fake hidden realm of just satisfying a quick urge to vent something instead of being open and honest it won’t turn out to be anything good. I met two really good friends on ep flew to Trinidad to meet on twice and formed real relationships shared truths. Really I’m just bored and talking but still thanks for the post

@SageAdvice I was going to say something similar

If you don't do something, you are destined to remain uncomfortable about doing it forever. Sometimes, being uncomfortable means being afraid with something that seems unfamiliar. Your suggestion to give up doing something because you are uncomfortable seems like a call for remaining in place.

@MarkPaul no what I mean is be open about it doing things that are uncomfortable is absolutely necessary for growth but doing things that one would feel shameful about is cause for festering and sameness, with so many avatars and touch and go post it seems there’s some room for substance and growth and even as you say confronting discomfort. We can add sincerity to this and boldness friendships would be real and lasting questions to spark conversations and make true connections as opposed to taboo comments we wouldn’t want our family or co workers to know we asked.

@Heysmellthis Okay, I get your point now. But, have you seen what some people post about? And, that's not a criticism. I'm not sure everyone is that apprehensive about posting uncomfortable things as you suggest though.

Many people here could use a little modesty to be honest.

In will.flip it around. If you come on here and say something, if you are an open book, you really have No place to bitch when someone says something negative about it. You asked for the reply when you spoke publicly.

@MethDozer ikr? It's like everyone expects you to kiss their ass and agree with them. God forbid you disagree and give them an honest opinion/answer... or they'll spend the next half hour trying to insult and/or discredit you...
