If he hate MENA immigrants (and Mexican immigrants as per our prior argument), it's a bit rich here, as someone you love is an immigrant and surely you plan to be together?

I read the exchange where he used the word invasion. You both talked about it obviously several times. He responded it wasn't the meaning you opted for. A word has several meanings.

You are familiar with logical fallacies. Someone can support immigration but have exceptions and objections. It's situational. Not an either or matter. [b] either/or reasoning.[/b]

You can solve your problem with him. This constant useless online fighting and bickering goes no where. This morning I am bit of an enthusiast, sort of hoping you both find a common ground despite the fact that I myself reacted emotionally last night for being used to get to him, after snooping about his or my profile? Either way this is a website for similar experiences and it shouldn't be a place for more divides. There is enough negativity as it is.

@Miram Wasn't snooping as it was you both who posted it publicly. I am more than happy to find common ground, but what you need to remember is when my people as young as toddlers and sometimes infants are thrown in cages by an administration who calls us murderers, drug dealers and rapists, this while white supremacists are increasing violence against us - it kinda rubs people the wrong way and people do get sensitive about such things.

Anyway, I doubt there'd be common ground, but I'm more than happy to try, else, I'll be settle for civility. I hope this applies on his end too, as in our initial exchange, he started acting without civility and insultingly. If someone insults me, I insult back. But like I said, I'm fine with civility.

You first mentioned Mexicans when I was talking about all illegal immigrants and if I had to hazard a guess it's because you had already decided who you were talking to. I agree to armistice. I'll even apply some genuine advice, if you want to decrease hostility from others then stay away from assumptions.
