1. Respecting elders
2. Hurting others
3. The amount of respect and how much you owe your parents
4. How our actions affect others
5. How stupid it is to imagine that you can't be affected by your own behavior

@solitaire There are more appropriate ways to deal with being struck as an adult than removing them from the house or lashing out in response - as I stated in my initial answer to your question.
