Would you mind being a second wife?

Providing you live in a different country. He can support you but you can be faithful and loyal yet live far away in another continent.

I would totally do it.

Nah. I’ve been in a long distance relationship it was frigging hard. We made it past the distance but I’d be so depressed if my love wasn’t with me majority of the time. Not to mention I’m not interested in being with a partner who has others too. We’d be incompatible
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit
I have a demanding career and not a lot of time for socializing. My parents are constantly harassing me to get marry. I would prefer a relationship like this, I can pursue my career and have the stamp of being a wife to keep my parents happy.

@Random1Thoughts not sure if marrying to make parents happy is the point to a commitment like that. But only you can decide who you live your life for
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit
I love them to bits and I will try to find ways to keep them happy. They're getting on in years and last thing I want to be is a disappointment.

@Random1Thoughts is hope you being a disappointment would actually involve you doing negative things not just finding yourself single. But we can’t pick our parents wants
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit
I think it would give them that peace of mind that I have somebody when they depart to their final destination. I totally understand where they are coming from.

@Random1Thoughts I’m not saying it’s from a negative place. But putting undue pressure on our loved ones can and is here in your situation lead to them leading lives not for them. As parents we had our shot, & we can advise but it’s their life & theirs to pick not anyone else’s. I hope you find what you truly want no matter what it may be. Best of luck to you
