How controlling is /were your parents?

Just a thought - have you given her any reason to distrust you or fear for your safety, or is she just naturally controlling?

@antisocialbutterfly If it were me in your situation I'd be looking for a way to move out, but I know how hard it can be to afford to do that at first.

The first place I moved into when I left the family home was a bedsit apartment that cost me virtually everything I earned just to live there!

@fazer1k I’m in college too so a lot of money goes towards that

@antisocialbutterfly College is a good thing to be doing. I don't understand why your mom isn't just happy that you are doing something constructive for your future.
