How can a person be both poor and happy?

I am having a very hard time understanding how they can be. Especially since now I am one of them. I mean all I've been doing is worrying about everything. How am I going to pay for this? For that? What am I going to do when I can no longer live here? How to prevent others from knowing of my tragic downfall? There is no time or energy left for being happy.

@Addictedtoglamour Because it’s true. They are the goals a person (a rational animal) aspire to. Out of that, there’s only what it’s imposed by society or our flaws or needs to fill an emptiness.

@Addictedtoglamour I don’t think so. I think it’s a pretty accurate picture of human needs. What I think it’s happens is that when we are up, we forget about the value of having a lower stage and we take it for granted.
