I certainly do think it’s your privilege to wear any colors you choose. The red-white-and-blue is my flag but the US doesn’t have a copyright on the colors.

yes, if it was designed in the flag, you may remind them what beauty is meant to display? They seem to have recently lost that. I'd say it was okay anyway outside of that.

If the bikini is made to look like the American flag, I still think it is your right to wear it. But keep in mind there’s usually a jerk almost anywhere who might decide your bikini is somehow going to threaten his freedom...so be prepared for jerkery.
