I guess it's a part of the job. I have a younger brother who used to work for McDonalds, Burger King, and then Golden Bear. All of those were ugly.
My sister-in-law works for Butera supermarket and she has to wear black shoes and a dark green uniform top.
My nephew has two part-time jobs - he works as a stock person at his Mom's supermarket (same ugly top) and the rest of the time at Chuck E. Cheese. The blouse from there is not too bad, but when you work there, you have to rotate the duties. One of these is you dress up like a chicken when someone is celebrating their birthday. Ryne had been working there one week before he got stuck with the job. He said it was the most humiliating thing he'd ever done.
Those folk are well worthy of your respect. Customer service sucks as a job add to that poor pay and the clown outfit and you have all the things wrong with it.
