One day a friend dropped by (one of those knock and enter type friends), and I was in the shower, so she put the kettle on for coffee. She brought her two year old son with her. Because I was in the shower, I didn't hear them come in. I guess two year old David decided now would be a good time to say hello to me. He came into the bathroom, and put his hand through the shower curtain and touched my leg, while saying, "Are you in 'ere, Auntie?"
After I recovered from my minor panic attack, I assured him that I was, indeed in there, and I'd be out soon.
Sheesh.

@SeductiveCactus It was. If he hadn't spoken I might have fainted. But that little voice asking if I was in there, penetrated the fog of terror, and I survived.
