Am I solving for Y?
Candypie2010 · 26-30, F
@ImRileyTheDog I think it's the quadratic eq
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
@Candypie2010 Uhhh no it's not...?
Madame · F
@Candypie2010 Yes, you have to use the quadratic formula!
xSharp · 31-35, M
@Madame or you can factor it 🤓
Madame · F
@ImRileyTheDog Wait, I got ((5 plus or minus sqrt39)) divided by 2.
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
@xSharp That is what I was kind of thinking, but I suck at factoring.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@ImRileyTheDog same, but its faster and my tutor says its basic stuff that we should know by now. lol
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
@xSharp I can't find the square root of something without a calculator😞 or divide, I forgot how to over time.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@ImRileyTheDog then just wait until you get around to logarithms! its the inverse operation of powers lol you will love it
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
@xSharp I take pre-caul next year😬

xSharp · 31-35, M
@ImRileyTheDog why? lol your struggling with applied as it is
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
@xSharp Because I want 4 years of math and I am honestly decent at math🙄
xSharp · 31-35, M
@ImRileyTheDog im taking gr 12 applied without gr 9 10 or 11 applied and im so far at 38% before the exam which is 30% of our total grade, i dont know if thats good or bad but i took it just to see if i could do it lol
