What would a Libertarian society look like?

If you say Somalia, you don't understand Libertarianism, economic, politics or Somalia.

Being a libertarian is ok if you're developmentally challenged
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User Why is that?
SW-User
@Arzawa It shows either that you're not in touch with reality, or can't think rationally.
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User Of course it shows rationalism. they based the foundation of morality on liberty of the individual. How are they irrational or out of touch with reality?
SW-User
@Arzawa What do you mean by morality, because morality is understood differently by different individuals. Making it easier for you- what according to you is the objective of morality?
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User I'm saying Libertarians see the foundation of morality as individual liberty. All actions are either moral or immoral dependent upon that foundation. Morality is simply a social construct for a society to base norms of behavior and set taboos.
SW-User
@Arzawa If you can assume the liberty to snatch liberty from another while still being moral according to the society, when having liberty is central to this system of society, then this system is meaningless.
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User You can't snatch liberty from others. By doing so you are violating their liberty which woudl be considered immoral. You don't seem to understand the philosophy you are so abhor.
SW-User
@Arzawa So you don't have the liberty to snatch liberty? That means restricted liberty. Restrictions on liberty require governance.
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User Indeed. Libertarians believe in government. Government should be small. Libertarians aren't anarchists. Again. You don't seem to understand the political philosophy.
SW-User
@Arzawa The idea of small varies with individuals in the society and therefore the system is not viable as it is.
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User You have no idea what your talking about.
SW-User
@Arzawa Finally, the argument that is your saviour and solace
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User It isn't an argument. You just don't seem to understand the political philosophy so there is no point in debating the points of it with you.
SW-User
@Arzawa wouldn't take a genius to figure out what I wrote. It meant that that is the typical response people have when they run out of arguments.
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User You don't like their foundation of morality and therefore proceed to dismiss the view of society based on that. You are too ideologically biased to think rationally.
SW-User
@Arzawa Nothing to be liked or disliked here. What is stupid is stupid. I dismissed it based on reason. Morality requires restrictions. Liberties and restrictions are opposites. You can't make as foundation for something, a thing that is the opposite of it. So the philosophy is non existent, can't dislike what is non existent. Regarding the practicalities, you can't arrive at what is universally accepted as small without enforcing a particular idea of small on everyone. It keeps getting worse.
Arzawa · 31-35, M
@SW-User You can't understand. I see you are from India. Now I know why.
