What do you think of Chic Fil-A raising their wages to 17 an hour base?

I have found they already have the better employees than other fast-food places.

I say its about time! In todays standard of living its hard to survive on less than that... and soon the U.S will have to pay higher tax on most things.

@TotalMiss Thanks to a $1 trillion dollar deficit that will have to be paid by those too stupid to see the tax cut won't help them and those who are cronies of the tax cut deceivers.

@TotalMiss And, your economics expertise comes from...? Oh... yes, I see your diploma on the wall... right there... It says, trump University. Nice!

@TotalMiss Hmmmm.. Doesn't seem like it. It seems like the kind of sense that most of the people we find ourselves surrounded with who spend more than they have with the hope their "ship" will come in sometime in the future as they live in the moment and find they will most likely will have to work for "the man" the rest of their physical lives.

@TotalMiss Economic principles are universal on all continents. What makes zero sense on a macro economic scale in Europe, makes zero sense in North America. Trade wars never worked. Spending more than you take in never worked. And, so on.

Will you be attending the trump University reunion this year? I heard they are serving steak.

@TotalMiss You mean because I am mature, responsible, and I have goals? Or, because I don't eat trump steak?

@TotalMiss I'm a capitalist, you silly-heart. I suppose if you ever come to visit you will want to see the National Igloo? Or, perhaps watch how travel takes place on sleds pulled by a pack of dogs since, you know, there's no major highway system?

@TotalMiss You are so misguided, misled, and out of the loop. Perhaps Sarah Huckabee-Sanders can help you.

@TotalMiss Wikipedia is hardly a reliable source, but this hardly supports your misguided position, let alone does it validate the economic category to which I belong. But, you get a gold star for cutting-and-pasting.

@TotalMiss Well, I am a capitalist just like you and your neighbors. And, they don't know how to manage their money if they applaud spending money today that they don't have and will have to be repaid ($1 trillion) "tomorrow."

@TotalMiss Well, that's back to the original point. It's been a nice circle, hasn't it?

@TotalMiss Well, we don't yet know about money, so there is no cost. Some people call that socialism. It is cold... that's how the igloo stays frozen. We do have the packets, but unfortunately we haven't "discovered" hot water yet, so those packets are fairly useless... the contents don't mix well with snow melted water. There is an plentiful supply of human milk.
