Do you give money to homeless people when asked?
I always say sorry I only have plastic and walk away. That's not true because I do carry some cash but they don't know that.

@CrazyMusicLover If you have old cellphones not being used please donate them to a woman’s shelter.
@LadyGrace I would rather make sure everyone eats & sleeps than one has shoestrings. I will donate my money directly to the food banks, soup kitchens, & shelters.
@DarkHeaven I see your point. I just think the decision should be left up to the individual as to what they want to buy. Naturally, food and shelter is a priority, but Ive been homeless with two kids and I remember crying because there are times when I needed money so bad, to get what I needed at the moment. If one has no stove to cook on, or place to live, canned goods really frustrate a person who’s left on emergency, with a moment’s notice, and knows best what they need at the moment. Plus, the canned goods are usually things people don’t like or cannot eat, I’ve seen them...so personally, I’d rather have had the money to go buy the food I liked, which I don’t think is selfish. A pound of meat goes a very long way with different combinations. That’s just me. That happened years ago, because of abuse. Giving is really a personal choice. At least people should give.
