Do you give money to homeless people when asked?

@Fernie Soup kitchens and food banks. I’ve even brought them some food. No money is my choice.

@nedkelly oh I've seen one before. He parked his fairly nice car off into some high weeds, brought out his dog, a crate and sat there on the side of the road

@Fernie Never did I say that all did that I mentioned one instance. Yes I am white, a queen and was lucky to be born into a wonderful family.

" So I visited a trailer park today
First of all I got lost on the way there because the streets aren't marked clearly in the part of town it was located in. Or my GPS lied to me. Not the nicest end of town it was sketchy. Anyway the trailers were older and crappy looking. I saw a dumpster outside of one being gutted. There was no paneling left on it. I saw zero luxury cars parked. Oh and there was like zero parking so I couldn't get any photos as it was hard to drive, pay attention and take photos. Lots of older cars like tauruses and Malibu and trucks. I saw some people walking around. They looked like the people that usually shop at walmart. No hillbilly stereotypes though from what I saw.

Nobody has nice yards it all grass and weeds. Some trailers had heaps of junk piled up on the front or side of them. That was offputting and was something I expected.

Overall, it wasn't the hillbilly place I thought it was going to be. However, I would still never live in one nor would I step foot in one again.

@nedkelly If you have old cellphones not being used please donate them to a woman’s shelter.

@Fernie I honestly am not understanding what's so wrong here? I was giving a visual description. I don't know how else I could have set the scene. It wasn't the best place to be. I was unfamiliar with the city it was in.

@Addictedtoglamour Blankets, food, & old phones at neutral places like food banks & shelters. Anything can help. Children’s coats, hats, & gloves. You’d be shocked how many children are in the shelter without proper warm clothing.

@DarkHeaven not going to lie I'm hard on electronics and most of my old phones are pretty beat up. Idk if they would take a busted old blackberry with the little scrolling ball that always falls out

@Addictedtoglamour They aren’t needing Internet. They are needing to call 911 because an estranged lover is trying to beat or kill them. Donate the phones and they will get rid of what is not usable. Please and Thank you.🖤
