But things have changed over the last hundred and fifty years or so and now it is the Republican Party, with the most racist administration since Woodrow Wilson, restoring slavery a little bit more each day. @GardenSage well, if you are supporting trump, you are doing that very thing: supporting a white supremacist because you are willing to hold your nose because you like what he is doing on health care and taxes. But he, and most of the people around him, are liars and racists. Unemployment is going down for everyone, and that is a good thing. He deserves some credit for that, as does President Obama. But look at what he is doing to the poor, most of whom are not white. Look at what he did before he was president and actually discouraged or blocked blacks from buying units in his buildings. These guys are the Klan.

Just a quick word on taxes while I have your attention here. Taxes buy armies (yes, nukes and they are not cheap), schools, librairies, research and development, nasa, peace, clean air and water (or did until Jan 20, 2017). Not bad things, taxes. More later. Time to sleep.
