Contra was the shit, easily one of the best games. I whiled away many an hour with both of them...and I still remember the code!

Double Dragon is a pretty good one also! Video games these days are nowhere near as good as they used to be. I miss when they actually used to release games full. No DLC or extra patches, or missing multiplayer. You get the game, and that's it. Even Doom is doing it now!
Contra used to be hard as heck though lol. I've never played a game as hard as Castlevania in my entire life. The original one on NES was brutal!
