I think western culture is the “yang”

While eastern culture is the “yin” when speaking of the Tao of major current human cultures.

Perhaps we should find ways to see life through both lenses at once

That sounds logical for the sake of peace and co-operation.
On the other hand where would African culture fit into that Yin/Yang. Maybe it could be the black circle that surrounds the whole thing ?

@Wraithorn African is integrated into western culture

And besides.. the “black circle” represents the void of emptiness that existence resides in

@GardenSage I have to respectfully disagree that Africans are integrated into western culture. They have been influenced by it, and often by force, due do to colonialism etc. but I don't think they have been integrated into it. They have a huge variety of cultures and beliefs that have nothing to do with the west.

@Wraithorn the west adopted them
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@GardenSage I think "used" and "exploited" would be better words than adoption.

Victim culture would tell you that.

@GardenSage What a useful thing to say... You're a sparkle a minute aren't you ? That's Ok though because without the yang the yin wouldn't exist.

Loser.
