I've just heard about the "incel" movement on the radio.

Is this a real thing.....men that consider themselves involuntary celibate because of genetics? I'm really confused.....

They blame it on that.

@MarkPaul what's happening with this world if this can happen?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore The world is the same as it always has been. But, you know... sometimes it's just hard to accept it or be accepted by it.

I guess entitlement? They think women are supposed to jump them just because
SW-User
@Notanymore Exactly. A seriously sick sense of entitlement where they believe women should be provided for them to be taken by force. They believe women owe it to them, that it is their right.

Do you know of any of these guys,? They need help

@MarkPaul I'm going to teach a seminar on how to not scare off every single woman you ever meet. Please tell these men to contact me. It's going to be free for the betterment of humanity

@Notanymore In your town or online?
Notanymore · 36-40, M
I'll have to figure out how to do it online..... nobody in my town would ever admit to it
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore Yeah, that's the problem. No one in any town is going to admit something like that. They need to be able to show up anonymously and in the safety of darkness.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
I agree.....any clue how I can get to them.... I think they just need someone to talk to and a bit of advice
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore Well, they are attracted to people who buy into their tragic sense of self-worth. In a way, they are narcissistic in how society (and women) have never given them a chance. If you have a pitch of that sort, they will flock to you like flies on shit.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
I think it's something I actually want to do..... just seems so sad to me.... I just have to figure out how
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore Promote it as a gathering of like-minded people. I mean, there's a "bait-and-switch" aspect to that, but realistically, it's the only way you will get them to show up. If you present it as self-help, it will fall flat.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
Yeah....self help is kinda lame. Especially if someone thinks they have it figured out....
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore Or... that they don't need self-help. Remember... they don't blame themselves for their predicament. They blame everyone else.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
True.... how big has this movement gotten?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore Well, I mean it's not really that organized. And, while it exists internationally, I doubt they number in the millions. Think of it as a small cult.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
That's more comforting....but I can see that the draw is there. I think each case barring medical situations can be remedial.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Notanymore Possibly... but at the same time, each case can quickly escalate. It's like sitting on a box of grenades that have loose ignition pins. These people can go off at any moment. They literally are like terrorists.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
True.....I may need help....I definitely need help
