Why do people put where they are on Facebook?

@AwesomeMcAwesome or worse, had one "friend" post a picture of her son being loaded into an ambulance! Like who the hell thinks as that is happening, oh this is a great FB moment.. wow

I know exactly what you’re on about. I remember someone marking themselves safe in an attack when they weren’t even anywhere near it.

I’ve seen the people who keep talking about A&E.

@SW-User well the same person took a photo of themselves in their breathing apparatus. Bizarre.
