@losthorizons It's rather like Santa Fe has the REASON for a city, but Quirky has the city.
I'm a recent transplant. Spent a fair amount of time in Albuquerque, though. They are close enough it's easy travel from one to the other.
Quirky's got some significant crime issues - not like DC or some other places - but enough. I'm not sure if SF just isn't big enough to bother with - or more likely, tourist trade is valuable enough to protect.
