I would have been born in the 1940s and gotten married and raised kids in the 70s and 80s. It would have been a lot different than now.

@LikeTheSun Nothing all that great abt the 40s and 50, but I'd like to have been an adult in the 70s and 80s. Back then you could work for the same company for a lifetime without worrying abt being laid off, schools weren't quite as screwed up so you could send your kids to school without worrying abt them being shot, more mothers than now didn't have to work, the American dollar went a lot further than now (things priced more reasonable).
