I just learned something truly strange about my mother.

She can't wear wrist watches: they always stop. Stop ticking, that is.
She's tried so many watches but they all simply stop working. Anyone else have or hear of this??

Yes I had a sister-in-law that happened to. She'd get a watch and it would stop working the fiwst day she wore it, lay them down on the table or dresser and it'd start working again...tried several kinds of watches and every one did it.

I think my sister-in-law would get a watch and lay it on her car dash or keep it in her purse and check when she needed to know the time.
