I just learned something truly strange about my mother.

She can't wear wrist watches: they always stop. Stop ticking, that is.
She's tried so many watches but they all simply stop working. Anyone else have or hear of this??

I haven't heard of that, but watches have always been uncomfortable for me to wear, and they did tend to get ahead of time. IDK why.

@purplepen I'd go spare without my trusty Swiss Army watch. One of those nurse type of watches wouldn't suit me, you know the ones that hang from the breast pocket?

@Cavedweller perhaps the Swiss watches don't lose time as easily as the cheap ones do.
