I wish I knew lol. My impression is this was a very intelligent woman who felt enormous pressure to turn her life around, and discovered she could create an fast emotional uplift by doing a countdown. She was so impressed with the result, she kept doing it until it became a habit... The hard part for everyone else is forming that habit to begin with.

She does mention she's helped a lot of people with this trick so it has a wide appeal. The biggest barrier seems to be sticking with it long enough for it to become second nature.

@plungesponge This is Mel Robbins ( Tony Robbins's wife) a business, motivational speaker mogul basically. He has good insights too, but this was more specific and direct from any of the other videos I've seen on this topic.

And yes, it's with anything a practice. But setting the intention to prepare your brain to be Instructed and to awaken- or as to be more conscious, hence conscious decision making/living.
