All these damn white people...

Why’d they have to go and make the world so great for everyone to live in.

Damn white Americans and their powerful voting demographic... why’d they have to take over the world and then implement things like civil rights..

Why’d they go and vote for everyone to have a say... jeez fucking racist white people....

this is actually wrong, Immigrant whites took civil rights by implementing slavery, and those under the influence of it tried to suppress it until the public started to empathize. This falls under the white mans burden theory that the world is chaos and its the white mans burden to fix it, but this brought issues into countries of people that looked different. White women got to vote in the 1920s, but women of color got to vote years later. In the time before blacks could vote they counted one in three slaves' vote because they believed people of color only counted as 1/3 of a person. Those using persuasion and empathy are the reason our society has so many rights advocates. Those rights werent given, they were fought for until they were Reluctantly given

@Cow1919 you’re a fool if you think white people started slavery..

The fact is: white people ended slavery.
@GardenSage No, empathy ended slavery, THe south believed it was a human right to own other lesser humans. They were proud of their racism and had to lose a war to give up their slaves and the president also faced problems as the people didnt want to get rid of their slaves. Thos of the north believed forced labor was a violation of human rights but there is part of history that still believes there are subhumans that they can use as pets and laborers

@Cow1919 you sure have a lot of ways of demonizing anyone for your problems... so complex and elaborate.

But I know the simple answer is the truest.

You sure take your liberties by generalizing whites for their evils, but not their honorable deeds.

Classic victim culture.
@GardenSage Actually there are men and women who fight for other's human rights, im not generalizing. i know there are good people in the world for i have met a few. But there are some who ignore the pas to exploit it for its glory moments to dehumanize others
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 no... actually.. you are being sold a perspective for your vote.

You choose your place in the world. You choose how to see it.

Victims are slaves.
To the same party that wanted to keep them btw......
@GardenSage but aren’t those who are on the other side playing the victim as well?
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 yes and it’s disgusting
@GardenSage they why support either when one forgets the horrible things they’ve done and the other uses it
GardenSage · 36-40, M
They’ve adopted the culture of the left as a way to combat it and lost their way.

It has never failed to prove its hypocrisy which is all anyone focuses on these days..

Hence your question to me.. if the opponent is a hypocrite, I can behave how I want...

Well everyone is a hypocrite.. it’s a failed logic@Cow1919
@GardenSage then why not try to evolve off of both ends and fix what we forget to create a more logical way of thinking rather than posting of such thugs that will cause trouble
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 cause trouble? Lordy...

Just stop playing the victim please.
@Cow1919 for example the gun debate, both sides have fair reasoning but nobody wants to talk, they want to shout insults and attack each other
@GardenSage causing trouble as in, making these points based in the things you want to hear, even I know I’m not always correct in my assumptions but I try to listen and evolve
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 what?

Seriously... WHAT tf are you even talking about now.
@GardenSage how both sides being flawed can contribute to higher thinking. Since you seem to ignore the empathetic side of the argument and I seem to ignore the society and the numbers that are involved
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 I agree.
@GardenSage then let’s exchange thoughts
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 sure. Nobody today owes anyone anything.

Vote for YOURSELF. Vote for independence. Vote for personal freedom. Vote for financial freedom.

Embrace competition. Embrace the idea that everyone IS born equal and ACTUALLY apply that to life.
@GardenSage I believe are bit equal is a right regardless of origin. And those who experience bad thing they should be able to talk about it without ridicule
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 you cant silence the voice and opinion of others because of the emotions of a person. That’s a slippery slope. That’s censorship.

We are all entitled to our opinions and are entitled to share them as long as we provide our own soapbox to stand on
@GardenSage I don’t mean opinions, I mean experience, normalize good things and isolate the bad
GardenSage · 36-40, M
People should be allowed to ridicule others within reason..

If someone is wrong, or idiotic in relative to their own safety or the safety of others, they should absolutely be subject to ridicule.

Besides it’s a fools errand to sink time, energy, and resources into curbing that. It’s quite impossible
@GardenSage fair, everyone can have an opinion but those with shorter tempers and less tolerance might find the word “no” angering and can hurt another with the opinion and their own reasoning
GardenSage · 36-40, M
@Cow1919 that’s life.... and that’s why guns are good.

Technology effectively levels the playing field for all. No longer can the loud mouth bully control the conversation.
@GardenSage very true, guns are useful to the mentally ill as well of monitored
