Why do we so often say ...

... when it is rainning; It's rainning outside? Why do we add the word, outside? Think about it, Does it ever rain inside? (not under any normal circumstances)

I'm perplexed!

I hate when people say ink pen! I'm so glad you specified, I was going to hand you a playpen! Also I hate when people call aluminum foil tin foil. When did they teplace it with aluminum, like 60 years ago!?
