What would you do if your gf/bf was doing cocaine, hiding it and lying about it for the majority of a 2 year relationship

What I did in this situation: told him to give it up and then I'd get back with him. Then said he had to be off it for 2years and then I'd get back with him. 2 years later I married someone else. Seemed fair at the time.
