The first one is co-dependency and I am scared of such relations.
I'd much rather have mutual life improvement.

me too. I don't think that's what I have now though. My gf is rather dysfunctional and isn`t interested in life improvement. But she does love me.

@plungesponge If you also love her, then that's all good, right? Dysfunctional is okay, as long as you're willing to love her regardless.
