I walked barefoot through 3 feet of snow, or in the summer on the hot asphalt... wait, that was my Dad's story 馃榿. Walked or rode my bicycle until I got in high school. It was 10 miles away, so I rode the bus until I was old enough to get a job and buy a clunker car.

[@657416,frequentlyme] I got the same story from my dad. 馃槅

Elementary I could walk. But Middle & High school were a 75 minute bus ride until I got my license at 16. We were beginning and end of our bus route because we were closest to the bus garage. Sucked.

I walked or took my bike. It was about a 20 minutes walk to school and no bus needed ;)

[@439366,FilthyBeast] she told me the bus was never on time at all. All was 20 or 30 minutes early or late. Never knew when to go down there.
FilthyBeastM
[@576182,Starsof6] yeah, and you couldn't tell if you missed it or not if you were the only kid at the stop anyway

[@439366,FilthyBeast] so yea her mom would bring her over to our house on the way to work. And she just ride her back with us

I took a train.. it took 30 mins. Then a horrible one mile walk up a steep hill. Hated every bit of that journey.

[@572340,Dusty101] 30 min train ride for a mile walk

I lived in the south east part of Dublin. My school was in Dublin city. About 16 stops. It took ages.. because it was quite a slow train. Even though it was called the DART. Dublin Area Rapid Transport. My a55 it was rapid!

I rode my bike everyday to school until I got my license. I didn't have a car but for some reason I chose to walk to school after that.
I remember taking a shower in the morning and having my hair freeze on the walk to school.
smileylovesgaming26-30, F
[@619287,Jwalker] omg that would be bad
