What do I do?

I have to have leave for work in less than an hour but my car battery is dead. Should I call in or pay 30$ for an uber and 30$ to bring mr back home?

Call in sick and replace your battery. You will need a new battery so no point wasting money on an Uber when it can go towards a new battery.

[@417971,LadyGrace] good idea!

[@468906,BlueRain] Thanks, Bluerain!

[@417971,LadyGrace] 😀
Don't you have a AA membership?

[@656163,Mushroomfaerie] Ahh, interesting. Here it’s AAA, American Automobile Association.
[@638129,LyricalOne] ah yes that's the same thing but ours is what's known as your alcoholics group haha. 🍾🚘

[@638129,LyricalOne] Aaaahh!

Could a friend or relative take you and pick you back up?
[@417971,LadyGrace] I only have my roomate but she has already left for work

[@378488,Lupepnte] Bluerain has the best idea. I'd definitely go with that.

Just play dumb and wait on them to call you, then say "oh I thought I was off today."
[@667522,Firestarter] i only work 2 days of the week there haha i don't think that would work out well

What other options are available?
[@638129,LyricalOne] a coworker could go out of their way to pick me up and drop me off. It would be awkward since I barely know them but its an option
LyricalOne · F
[@378488,Lupepnte] Might be worth a shot.

Oh, and you can call in and say you will be LATE, instead of OUT. ;)
[@676855,StonedWitch] Will a jumpstart be reliable for 30minutes of driving and turn on when I need to go home?
