How come peanut allergies have become so prevalent?

Is this really something serious or is it people going overboard with the safety precautions..

It's more likely the kids don't like them and their knee jerk mothers scream peanut allergy.

@Jibby Exactly. I am actually highly allergic to mosquitos and I used to put this Off lotion on but then all of a sudden they started making it purple. Well, it stained my clothes. So, I called the company and guess what. Kids wont let their mommies put it on them if it's white, they like purple. So, I said ok, fuck you. Bye. Can you believe that. They wont LET their mommies put it on them? How about their mommies say put it on or suffer with mosquito bites.

@katielass JD my mother was from the Bronx my father was from Brooklyn.. you should see the mob-style beatings I got as a kid. And that didn't stop me from getting in trouble.. I deserved every one of them LOL
