What would you think of a 16 year old girl having a baby with a 29 year old?

I believe it's wrong. If I was 16 again I would probably not have a problem with it. I got pregnant at 16 by a guy in his 20's. At that age I thought guys liked me because I was smart and pretty. Smart as I was I still had the maturity of a 16 year old. Being pretty was just a great bonus for a guy. They all wanted that one thing and that's it. I use to think it's not their fault, they're just human. Actually, it is their fault. When I think back to those men who tried to sleep with me and the few who succeeded, I think what sickos they are.
Teenage girls are impressionable. They are fascinated by their changing body. They are fascinated with the attention they get from men of all ages. It's normal for a teenager to be curious about sex and want to experiment too. If a man finds himself in a situation with a teenager girl who is acting towards him in a sexual way it is his responsibility to put a stop to it and exit the situation regardless of how aroused he might be. A teenager is not a child but they are not an adult either.
If he claims to love her and it seems honest he needs to ask himself and others ask him why he isn't hanging out and spending time with women his own age? He should stay away from minors and get therapy.

You'd simply have to accept it or risk going to prison yourself. I guess what you have to do is raise your kid to be smart enough not to give in to pressure and respect her body, but you and I both know you can't protect her always...
On the morality, everyone has thier own , but I would just like to point out that God through nature set our bodies to be ready to carry a baby around 11-13, when we start menstrating.. Does God not have absolute moral authority ? Who are we to argue morality with him? Just a thought..

@SW-User Actually, no, that's not correct, morality laws in most states do not cover age consent, however in some states it does cover certain sexual behaviors for all ages, has nothing to do with age of consent.

@Fernie if you believe in God , then you must also believe he has absolute moral authority and if he set it at 11-13 who are we to argue the morality aspect.. the real question is whether they can fulfill the duties of a husband and wife..
Historically speaking, the wealthy married thier young off as quickly as possible in arranged marriages to cement treaties and alliances and gain lands and wealth.
Poorer families married thier daughters right at menstration because it was one less mouth to feed of a family starving to death.. it was bleak and it was not a moral issue.. we made it a moral issue 80 years ago..

Legally, in some places, it is legal, age of consent is 16 here. But, is that really good for them? I think finishing high school would be best. I'm not going to judge, it's their life, I'm not living in their shoes. I don't know the circumstances around them.
