As a writer, editor, and teacher, it is very difficult for me to not take notice, and cringe, at improper grammar. However, to me, relationship is far more important than correct grammar. So, I have to ask myself, is it really worth possibly hurting another's feelings by pointing out their mistakes? No! Not unless they have asked me to. I do appreciate when people point out my grammatical errors however, (in a kind way) because I can't stand it when I post something with typos and I genuinely like to learn.
