I have done the giving up thing and the do more that it becomes a sacrifice. It seems if I make a commitment to something, like cooking at the church fish fry, becomes more of a sacrifice to me. It never fails that those Wednesdays and Fridays always offer an alternative I'd much rather do.

whatever you like :) i love scallops but i don't eat them enough to give up...i hate mussels so no point there and shrimp not really a fan but i do love haddock but only eat that on occasion lol :) @SageWanderer

@LindaM Did you notice I left out lobster? We eat a lot of seafood so that would be a hard one to give up. Trying to stay away from beef and pork to see if it helps the diet.

@LindaM I wish Tim Horton's was still open here. Our local stop and go store doesn't have the best but they passed as good for her sweet tooth.
