Why do people say that all the aborted babies in the world could grow up to be president?

@Serenitree yeah I suppose so. If the mother is underage or is not financially able to care for a child or it’s a danger to her health or it’s a rape baby or it’s a hundred other reasons. Her body her choice I feel.

But there are other considerations. At least here in Canada.

That's her with her Mom. Her mother's mother wanted her to have an abortion. Luckily, here in Canada, the fathers have rights too. My grandson said no way. He was willing to raise his baby alone if necessary, but he wanted his child to live. So, they went ahead and had the baby. Look what might have been. Now, I agree, if it's a rape baby, it might be best for mom, and certainly the sperm donor can't have any say in the matter. But under normal conditions dads should have a say.

@Serenitree yeah I wanted to mention that point as an exception but I felt that a lot of people would still say her body her choice. But it’s not fair to the father who may have been over the moon at the fact he was going to be one. A mature couple would talk it out at length

@Longpatrol They did. Grandmother lost the battle. And in the end she loved that little girl as much as we did. Still a selfish woman, but she did love the baby. Then she died, when baby was 2 years old.
