I wish I could tell my client that his work is not getting done because my boss is not being prompt in making those crucial, important calls.

I wish I could tell him that my boss finds it amusing how much effort I am putting into his case and so is not promptly giving her best in the last leg. And if I remind her she tells me not to put in so much effort into one case, knowing full well that his is most urgent.
I just want to give this Shit up and cry in some corner.
