How come people don't say exactly how they feel?

Why dont people say " i dont want to hang out/ be friends" instead of giving excuse after excuse or being flaky? Why cant a mate just say they dont want to be with you instead of lying that they arent cheating etc...

Because if they do, you'll get all butt hurt and bitch about how rude and inconsiderate they are. It is precisely the people tgat pretend they want people to be frank with them that whinge when people do become frank.
