My mother and I got on fine but now she is 98 and has become quite senile. We used to go fishing. She used to watch jeopardy, she used to read all the time. Play crossword puzzles. She was a nurse. She made hundreds of baby quilts. Now she just lays in bed. She doesn't talk or eat. She is the last of her family. My dad's family is all gone.

Mine has not left the same spot on the sofa in 12 years

Yes, she has some issues.
But, I love her and do my best not to take most of it to heart anymore.

All of that is normal at your age. It will change.

yes I do,always have,she failed me so many times,,,,i love her but,but one let down after another,,,,she's in Detroit with my sister,,,,

every now & then there is an issue but shes my life

My mother was physically and verbally abusive and tried to destroy my self esteem in order to bolster her own. I guess you could say we had a difficult relationship.
