How do you feel about the way schools often seek to control how girls dress

on the basis that it is just too distracting for the boys?

Personally i feel that objectifies young women and gives young men too little credit.
Just another example of women's bodies being considered offensive or inappropriate.

If you want to tell girls that they can't show their shoulders or belly or legs then you better make damn sure that the guys aren't allowed either.

The guys aren't allowed to either. And also they don't have dress codes because the female body is inappropriate it isn't. The dress code exist for the reason you stated that it's a distraction. guys are going to be distracted buy exposed female skin. It is an inescapable fact of life. School is a learning environment and they want the students to focus on their education while they are there. They don't want the girls competing for the attention of guys and guys ogling the girls all day.

BuullllllSHIT buddy.
When i was in highchool did i look at girls? All the time. Did i look at them when their skin was exposed? All the time. Did i look at them when their skin was not exposed? All the time.

And yet i still managed to do well enough on my tests and assignments. Because we can still fucking function even if you can see a girl's thigh!🙄
