Why must people be so harsh on this generation?

@Fernie Your opinions, like any others, are valuable whether I agree with it or not. You are certainly proud of your generation. Anyhow, I think that all generations have their own faults as well as their own strenght. Hopefully, one day you will meet the better part of this generation that appreciates you, and that you will get to learn something new from them as well.

@Fernie disrespect? Lol never once did I personally attack anyone older than me. All I did was make an observation and you get all butt hurt. Sorry to say but you are exactly the type of person I described in my comment. Someone who bitter and angry that life has passed them by and refuses to adapt to the times. Of course i respect older people. My coaches, employers, family friends, all of whom I’ve learned valuable lessons in life and who have different perspectives on everyday things. But for people like you who love being cynical and displaying confirmation bias every chance you get at anyone younger than yourselfs, I have no time for.

I like older generation alright. In fact, I don't see people as generations, it's just that the phrase "your generation is ____" annoyed me a little, so I need to express the thought I had on this matter.

@PhantasmaMechanica Oh I understand your point. My generation is big! covering several decades Baby Boomers. Some are stuffy in there ways, some of us are pretty cool.

@drymer Well, I would not say I blame everything on the parenting. I just think that generations of people are not what they are just because they are like that.

@PhantasmaMechanica No, no... think about it... Kids become what they learn from their surroundings, from the example of their parents... It's the parents who teach their kids about what's right or wrong, about what's acceptable and what's not... And if the parents are too busy to do parenting, then it's their parents fault too, for failing to teach their kids...

@RadiantRuby I don't, so I wonder. However, I think that all generations are responsible for each other-- one causes the next to be in a certain way. Just a speculation.
