i'd recommend you watch scam 419 on youtube , its a video of a Nigerian business scam that goes down bad on some guys greed from the US , great video

@cherokeepatti i watched one where a cop from England led some Nigerian to some remote cabin on a hill for a meeting place ha ha made the guy spend money with airfare and taxi for nothing the guy wasn't thrilled and had to back to Nigeria broke

@FurryFace good hit them where it hurts. My sister placed an ad on Craigslist selling a wedding dress (from her daughter's first wedding) for $100...she put in the ad local buyers only and she wanted cash money. She got at least 10 e-mails offering to pay more money and shipping etc. if she'd mail the dress to an out-of-state address. The English wasn't good and sounded like a Nigerian scam letter and I told her it was probably a Nigerian scammer. Who offers to double the amount on something like a wedding dress that hasn't even been tried on for size? Scammer of course.

@FurryFace Oh they do it on a lot of higher-price items on Craigslist, cars and other vehicles, jewelry, probably even video game boxes and other things that there's a high demand for.

@cherokeepatti yeah i was interested in selling some old computers , i collected a few and had em fixed up in working condition but had no idea how to use these selling sites plus opening a pay pal account is awkward from Quebec , our Banking systems use different codes for stuff

@FurryFace That's why Craigslist is so popular, you can advertise for free and put "cash only, local sale must pickup" or something like that. My sister sold a lot of stuff that way, books, space heater, wedding dressing etc.

@cherokeepatti yeah another problem was me without a phone i can't buzz people in the lobby in , so i'd have to direct them by email to my Balcony on the ground floor , the one with the Orange Chair on it , lol
