Can I unbestfriend?

I had a guy bestfriend for almost 3 yrs. We have a very clean relationship and it feels like I can't live without him. Until 2017 came and gradually everything has change. We both knew our flaws but it seems like when he knew mine, something change. We are still good friends especially at college but it was unlike before. It feels like we're just classmates/friends now? not a bestfriend thing. lately I knew he was calling someone "bestfriend" too. Am I jealous or what? but it feels sucks. I still try to get back to our old relatioship but he's too busy. Anyway...

@HuckleberryFriend relationships are not easy. They take work and mending where there's tearing. Communication is how fix broken relationships. If you're not willing to make the time then I guess you've already made the choice to let it go

@SW-User I asked him to go with me and our other classmate to our Christmas lighting ceremony. But he didn't come with me because his crush wasn't there (?) although I told him it was fun.

@HuckleberryFriend well it sounds like jealousy and understand. I'd also be jealous. But if you're going to try and fix things, you're going to have to tell him what your fears are. hopefully he listens. If not then I guess it's over🤷‍♂️
