Have you ever felt totally alone in the world?

Yes. Back at the end of 2007, after I woke up during surgery, I felt so alone, I despaired of ever meeting someone who'd been through the same ordeal, as Anesthesia Awareness as it's called, is a rare occurrence. About 2 years later, close to 2010, I met another Awareness survivor (as we call it) for the first time. I slowly started to heal, and stopped feeling so alone and lost.
