@seotelkniwt Manually turning off the device isn't enough for "true" security if your it's been breached. It could be turned back on by a hacker, and in many cases turned back on in a way that it doesn't look like it's on at all. You'd have to remove power - so battery in a laptop or unplug for a desktop.
That's not a level of security most people would ever need to worry about, to be honest.
